Immune peptides are research compounds that interact with the immune system, either by activating immune cells or by regulating inflammation. This category contains Thymosin Alpha-1, VIP and a blend with the anti-inflammatory peptide KPV, all as lyophilised powder for laboratory research.

Immune peptides in this category

  • Thymosin Alpha-1 10 mg: a 28 amino acid peptide that was originally isolated from the thymus. It is approved as a medicine in more than 30 countries under the name Thymalfasin, mainly as an adjunct in hepatitis B treatment, and is studied for T cell maturation.
  • VIP 10 mg: vasoactive intestinal peptide, a 28 amino acid neuropeptide that occurs in the gut, the brain and the lungs. It is studied for its regulatory effect on inflammation and on the vascular system.
  • BPC-157 / GHK-Cu / TB-500 / KPV blend: KPV is the three amino acid end fragment of the hormone alpha-MSH and is studied as an anti-inflammatory peptide. In this blend it is combined with three repair peptides.

How Thymosin Alpha-1 and VIP differ

Thymosin Alpha-1 is the compound for research on immune activation. Studies describe effects on the maturation of T cells and on the response of dendritic cells. VIP works in the opposite direction in many models. It is studied as a regulator that dampens inflammatory signals. For research on inflammation in tissue repair, the KPV containing blend connects this category with our healing and recovery peptides.

Handling of immune peptides

All compounds are supplied as lyophilised powder in sealed vials. VIP is one of the more sensitive peptides and should be stored frozen and protected from light. The powders are dissolved before use with bacteriostatic water. Our guide on how to reconstitute peptides describes the method.

Research status of immune peptides

Thymosin Alpha-1 is an approved medicine in several countries, but the research compound sold here is not a pharmaceutical product. VIP and KPV are not approved medicines. All products in this category are sold for laboratory research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
